Meditation for Beginners with Jessica Bowles
Join us for a workshop on how to begin a meditation practice!Throughout the class you will experience tools to help calm the mind and body, developmeditation techniques for ease of practice, learn how to adjust your body to feel more at ease inseated posture, and discover resources that can shift old habits and patternsThis workshop will be taught in two parts, each consisting of a short talk, gentle seatedmovement, guided breathwork, and seated meditation, with a break in between (tea will beserved), then ending with a short Q&A and book signing.

Taught by: Jessica BowlesJessica is an author and teacher who began her personal yoga practice as a teenager in themind-nineties and was immediately drawn to its deeper purpose of finding stillness andconnection within.She has taught in the Lake Norman area since 2006 and in 2015 created and ran a local meditation center, where for over a decade she offered teachings and a space of stillness, healing, and connection.Jessica later shared these teachings in her writing with her first published book The Meditation Room that offers timeless wisdom of yoga through gentle, grounded teachings that invite calm, clarity, and presence.
